Dr. Satyan K. Shah, M.D. (The "Prostate Guru") is a fellowship trained Urologist and specialist in the treatment of prostate diseases. After graduating Alpha Omega Alpha ("Top Gun") from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, he went on to complete residency training in Urology at Loma Linda University in California. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where he honed his skills in Robotic Surgery, especially Robotic Prostatectomy.

Dr. Shah currently serves as Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at University of New Mexico Cancer Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Shah is a frequent speaker on prostate cancer screening and awareness. He has been featured in Albuquerque the Magazine, Albuquerque Journal, on radio 770AM KKOB,  and on Albuquerque's Channel 2 KRQE evening news.
